The sins of neglect
The sins of judgment
The sins of turning a blind eye
to justice mis-served
By men with evil in their hearts
and their minds.
They died for a police state
that should not exist
in the “land of the free”.
They died because of their skin
not their character
But character assassination is all
you have left after their last breathe
to justify
your evil misdeeds
of cold
blooded
murder.
Murder with or without intention is still
MURDER
And there is no take backs
No I’m sorrys
They died for a myriad of reasons
all illegal and misapplied “justice”
but justice for who?
When will we say enough?
Or should I say, when will it be
ENOUGH.
When will the voices be heard?
When will they be valued?
When will they be respected?
As humans, worthy of life?
When will there be justice for all?
Equality
Respect
Honest Discussion
End polite discourse that steers clear
of discomfort
of glossing over
of victim blaming.
Persecute and prosecute the perpetrators
and traitors to the republic
And maybe the true justice can happen
and we can live in peace and understanding.
This is OUR country
OUR world
Not just for a select few or chosen ones,
ALL.
